The Ghana Economic Pre-Review forum has been designed as a tool to identify the macroeconomic challenges Ghana is likely to face this year; identify the opportunities which will be available to exploit; elicit suggestions from stakeholders as to how to navigate the challenges and as well secure their support/goodwill for government’s economic management efforts, policies, projects and initiatives during this year.

Ultimately, the forum sets out to support government’s efforts with regard to macro-economic management, public and private sector investment, public debt management and enhancement of the operating environment for business to increase their contributions to economic growth and development.
